Where to start?!
Earn money on your website!
It is much easier to say than do so, but somehow you need to start. The best thing is to write about a familiar topic, about something you know best, so that your visitors can identify an expert in you. Will it be football, music or something more serious, doesn't really matter, it is important to know the topic well. That simplifies the job, even more if you write in your local language, as it was my first website, but be aware of limitation of your website traffic only to visitors who can understand your language. If your first language is not English, of course.
Next question is, will your visitors find your favorite topic interesting too? Who knows?! Perhaps some will, but that is not enough. In that case, you are loosing your visitors, which means - no money from your website...
It is best to write about something generally popular, something that will be of interest to the large masses, or even better, something of global interest. This ensures the largest possible number of visitors. Imagine that you live in the small town of several thousand inhabitants and writing about cultural events. One or none of the exhibition a year, several children's play in school, a monthly concert of church congregation, and that's it! You do not have what to write, and have not for whom to write. On the other hand, imagine how many people every day by surfing the internet seeking information about how to earn money from their websites.
Thus we can conclude, the main predisposition of good income from the website is huge website traffic. If you have a large number of visits there is a lot of ways how to use it. A lot of visits means a lot of clicks all over the website. According to statistics about 12% of all visitors will click on the paid ads such as Google AdSense... all the rest is just mathematics.
Let's say again; interesting content - large number of visitors - well tuned website - and money will come, it's simple as that!
What would it be interesting content?
Take Google and do some research in that direction, to start. I would not be surprised if you find out that money is the most popular topic in the world... Money and all that comes with it is what people usually talking about, honestly, starting from my self.
Try to do a test... Go to those websites with free SEO tools, particularly keywords popularity tool and look for words such as money online, internet business, adsense revenue, etc... You will see a great popularity - frequency of those words online. So, money is certainly very interesting topic to write about.
Just do not expect that things will go easily, like... You'll just write about money and everyone will come to your website. Believe me, it will be tough fight for every visitor. Competition will be strong, and will have big advantage right from the beginning. So, get ready for a serious fight. Do a lot of research, learn things, deal with the facts, become an expert in the topic of your writing.
To create a good website does not need to be a good web master, you'd better be a good investigator or journalist.
Every five-year-old kid can put things together and upload it to your web server.
Always remember, there are a lot of those who looking for information, and only a few of those who have them... Try to make your website to be a target for those who looking for information. |

Don't Copy and Paste from others!
Do not think, I'll write website for you... The money for the subject, was just an idea!
You have to make your own decision what will you write about, and it must be really your job. There's no copy and paste things, nobody doesn't like that, especially Google...
Ok, you have done it...
You have your own website... Seems it's new one, your Page Rank is 0, or your website isn't even indexed by the Google. Before you do any promotional moves, you must improve your website SE optimization (SEO), and for that job couldn't be better then www.vuwl.com free SE optimization online service. All the things I said up are well known and most common methods in first steps of website promotion. They are also in most cases very tough thing to do, especially submitting to Open Directory Project - DMOZ, which is one of the toughest things to do. However, website promotion exactly means to get traffic to your website.
One of easy things to do, which will help getting traffic is that you make a big video portal YouTube work for you. Take advantage of their extremely big amount of daily traffic by simply watching and making reviews of various videos that you see there. While you make a reviews just put your name and a link to your website.
It's legal and free way to build your traffic.
You may also do exactly the same thing on eBay and other similar websites. While doing online reviews on their products always leave your name and a link back to your website.
Talking about YouTube, it isn't a bad idea also to do a video promotion of your website. Think how many people everyday watching videos in there?! If you get even a small percent of them, it could be a great opportunity for you. |

What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is contextual Affiliate program which generates revenue for you, by putting it's ads on your website. There's mainly a few different types of ads, but let's stick with most common, Google Adsense ads, Google Referral banners ads and Google Search bar. The first one is simple text add with link to the advertiser, could be in the frame, colored or not, but mainly related to the content of the website.
The second one means that you referral your visitors, when they click on their banners, embed on your website.
The third one means that you put their search bar on the website so the visitors can search the web directly from you website.
In first case you could be paid about $0,05 or $0,50 or even more for a single click. The second case is much better paid business and could reach up to $20 for a single click, depends on how much advertiser paid commission for every new member that you referral to them. |

How to activate account?
Simply go to the Google Adsense sing up page and create new account. You must be patient while they answer you back, it may take a few days or even more. Once you are accepted and have your codes you my start dealing with ads and make money online.
This is easier part of the account creation story. Let me tell you a few things how should you prepare website before you start filling up Google Adsense online application.
*Most important thing is that you apply only finished and technically correct web pages.
Don't apply website with "under construction" or a little content pages, video / photo gallery, contact form or survey, pages that is required user name or password to access them, or dynamic content pages. It is also recommended not to use a Robot.txt files in the website.
*It would be better if you have submitted your website to Google SE, and if it is already indexed. This isn't an condition, but it makes better impression while they checking your website.
*Use as much is possible good, sensible and helpful textual content. More text, less images or without images at all, is a golden rule. Google Adsense uses contextual ads which are related to your content, so you can pretty much control what kind of advertisers ads they putts on your website. Some advertisers pays for clicks a lot more then others.
*Do not link to website that rewards users for clicks on the ads, reading e-mails, searching the internet... Avoid participate in internet founds or illegal businesses...

Guys, please take this one for serious! Don't you ever, ever click on your own ads for any reason, or ask your friends click them for you. Never lead your visitors directly to click on the ads, don't hide elements of ads or change them in any way...
